The shafts of 8-arc ring and 4-arc ring arranges alternatively with each arc flanging toward inside so that the surface of the packing is continuous and spread in the space averagely. Compared with the Pall ring, the flowing quantity could be increased by 15-30% while the pressure drop being decreased by 20-30%.
