SLITTING LINE

A SLITTING LINE cuts original wide coils into more smaller coils of a particular width, so secondary users such as metal stampers, tube producers or roll forming houses can use it in production of some type of finished product. SLITTERS are built to handle a wide array of coils. They range from 100mm to 2200mm (3.94”-86.61”) in width. Original wide coil weights can range from 3,000 to 35,000 kgs. Thickness available can range from 0.15mm to 10.0mm. Speed can range as fast as 50 meters per minute, depending on the desired processing.
