The Description of Tackifying Resin:
1) SL-1806 is a thermoplastic novolac resin with excellent properties of initial tackiness and tackinessretention of rubber. This resin can be used in all kinds of rubber requiring high tack between green rubber plies, especially in synthetic rubbers.
· 2) SL-1806 has a good compatibility with all kinds of synthetic rubbers as well as processing oils.Therefore, it is suitable for tire building and other rubber articles which need good tack between plies.
· 3) SL-1806is a solvent-soluble resin. This product is supplied in the form of pastilles without dust generation and therefore, much favored in the automatic weighing system. This resin can be easily mixed into rubber compounds and no contamination to equipment and workplace can be expected. SL-1806 has a good compatibility with all kinds of synthetic rubbers as well as.
4) The recommended dosage of SL-1806 should be 2—8phr.
