PVC-U eletctrical conduits is made of polyvinyl chloride resion,adding special additivies to be produced by extrusion and injection.PVC-U conduits are mainly used as electrical, communications cable casing.Standard implementation is JG3050-1998 specification for electrical insulation conduits and fitting in buildings
◆ PVC electical conduits is widely used in concrete of construction、floor and wall as wire conduits (underground conduits);gennerally as wiring conduits ,telecommunications and network cabling conduits.
◆ Compared with traditional steel wire ,PVC electrical conduits has characteristics:
◎ Hight resistance to pressure:PVC conduits can stand about 750N pressure and can be externally installed or buried in concrete avoiding any damage caused by pressure.
◎ PVC conduit is moisture proof and has excellent resistance to acid, alkali and rust-eaten.
◎ Flame retardant: PVC insulating electric engineering casing can be self extinguished when kept away from fire (it can be self-extinguished after leaving off flame for 30s), so fire can't be spreaded along the pipe.
◎ It is insulated. In soaking condition, PVC conduit will not be broken down by the electricity of AC2000V, 50Hz. In aspect of avoiding electric shock, international tendency is that insulation is preferred to earth connection. PVC insulation electrical conduit meets this requirement.
◎ Easy installation. The conduit less than de32mm can be easily cut off by pipe cutter. Inserting relevant special spring into conduit, it can be bent into needed angle under normal temperature. Pipeline meeting the construction shape will be formed to connect conduits with PVC adhesive.
◎ Saving investment:compared with steel tube,construction costs of PVC conduits can be greatly reduced in material and installation.
