What are the materials?

The swing chairs are woven by hand with environment-friendly PE or natural rattan on strong and sturdy wrought-iron standing base. They usually come with soft cushions as per our photos. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.

What’s the difference between real and PE rattan Swing?

Rattan is a close relative of the palm tree. It is a type of a vine that rapidly grows in the jungles of South Eastern region. It grows in the shape of a pole, and its diameter varies between one to three inches. Rattan is one of the strongest woods and possesses the ability to grow up high as hundred feet. It’s a natural material so it’s preferred for indoors only and not suitable to be exposed to sunlight or rain for a long period.

PE rattan is a synthetic material and it’s also known as poly rattan, PVC/PE rattan or artificial rattan. It’s soft and flexible and less easy to get broken compared to hardness of real rattan. It’s not easy to fade when exposed to sunlight. Hence, it can be used indoors as well as outdoors.

Real Rattan looks more natural and it’s more expensive at cost and requires higher craft technique to get it woven while PE rattan costs less and it’s more convenient for import as well. 

What are the colors?

PE Rattan:

There are mainly 7 colors available for election for PE rattan.

1. grey rattan

2. brown rattan

3. dark coffee rattan

4. green rattan

5. Honey color changing rattan -->similar to real rattan, changing color from strong honey to light

6. Black rattan

7. White rattan

Support Base:

There are mainly two colors: white and coffee.

Usually white base goes with white PE rattan and coffee stand goes with rattan in any colors.

Cushion:

There are plenty of colors for selection, including plain colors and designs. Please contact us for more choices.

What’s the size?

Our standard size is as illustrated in the picture or as specified. We make also sizes as per requirements of our clients.

What’s the holding weight?

Different swinging chairs have different loading capacity. D001-2 1-person swing chair holds as much as 150kgs.

What are the volume (cbm) and the loading capacity in a 20GP or a 40HC?

Our hanging chair is light in weight and it’s always charged against the volume (cbm) for delivery.  Please contact us for loading quantity in a container.

The hanging chairs can be used for both indoors and outdoors. It’s widely used in balconies, patios, sunrooms, living rooms, bedrooms, gardens, for leisure and wedding occasions, etc.
