Properties:

1. Optical properties: different kinds and thickness of glass sheets have different optical properties. Its range: solar spectrum transmission rate is 20-50%; visible light transmission rate is 10-80%; heat- ray reflectivity rate is 25-80%.

2. Thermal insulation: its thermal insulation affected by types of glass sheet, thickness and air layer. When use Low-E glass as glass sheet, its thermal insulation is up to 1.6W/M2k, which is only 1/2 of ordinary glass. Within a certain range, the thicker is the air layer, the stronger is the thermal insulation capacity.

3. Sound insulation: its sound-insulated degree can reach 29-32db.

4. Anti-frosting: Usually, indoor surface frosting temperature is 15°C lower than the ordinary windows.

5. Dew point: the dew point of insulated glass is below -40°C.
