Ground sourced heat pumps simply move energy from one place to another. In the system, there is a refrigerant cycle, we call it reverse Carnot cycle, it consists of four component, Compressor, Condenser (doublepipe heat exchanger) ,Expansion valve, Evaporator (plate heat exchanger).
