Usage/Applications of Fiberglass surface tissue

It is mainly used as substrates for water-proof roofing materials and joint materials. It is characterized by high tensile strength, corrosion resistance, dimensional stability, water resistance, high porosity and easy stauration by bitumen and joint compound. The longitudinal strengh and tear resistance can be improved further by incorporating reinforvements into the mat across its whole width. Perforated mat is also available when the mat comes out from a particular punch process.
