Explosion proof dipstick for measurement

Explosion proof dipstick is a specialized measuring standard instrument used to measure the height of oil products, designed to measure the depth (actual height) of oil products in containers such as oil tankers and storage tanks, or to measure the depth of water level at the bottom of containers.

The advantages of explosion-proof dipstick mainly include easy operation, high corrosion resistance, and non-magnetic properties.

Easy to operate: The oil dipstick consists of a handle, ruler frame, rocker handle, ruler strap, ruler weight, and ruler, with the scale direction facing the handle. This design makes measuring the depth of oil and liquid chemical products simple and fast.

High corrosion resistance: The explosion-proof dipstick has high corrosion resistance and can work stably for a long time in harsh environments without being easily damaged.

Non magnetic: This characteristic ensures that explosion-proof dipsticks will not pose safety hazards due to magnetism when used in specific environments.

Use a dipstick:

Pull out the dipstick, pay attention to the surrounding environment, and ensure that there are no debris around the dipstick to avoid affecting the inspection results.

Use a clean cloth or tissue to wipe off the oil adhering to the dipstick to avoid affecting the inspection results.

Insert the dipstick back into the oil pan, into the bottom, and then pull it out again to observe the oil level height.

Pay attention to the difference between hot and cold states. When checking the oil level, it is necessary to meet the prerequisite of the vehicle lying flat and the engine stalling for more than one hour.

When using an explosion-proof dipstick, the following points should also be noted:

Ensure the cleanliness of the dipstick and avoid impurities affecting the measurement results.

Before use, check if the scale of the dipstick is clear and visible to ensure measurement accuracy.

Choose the appropriate oil sinker based on the quality of the oil. Typically, copper or stainless steel oil sinkers are used. The oil sinker is connected to the ruler strap using a universal hook and can rotate freely.

Lower the ruler steadily, slowly rotate the handle, and let the ruler follow the gravity of the oil drop to lower, reducing shaking until the oil drop touches the bottom of the measuring body before lifting the ruler.

The reading should be accurate, and the line of sight should be perpendicular to the tape. First read millimeters, then centimeters, decimeters, and meters.

Clean the ruler, rotate the handle while wiping the tape with a dry cloth. After recycling, place it in a dry and clean packaging box.
