XG Model Electric Hanging Cross Track Crane is a kind of special crane for coal mill room in thermal power plant, It is mainly used for the installation and maintenance of ball mill parts. The operation level is level A1~A3 and the operation temperature is -25~+40℃. It is not suitable to hoist the melting metal to toxic, flammable and explosive articles. This product is the combined equipment. It is made of electric hoist trolley, electric double girder suspension crane(main hoist),(manual)electric single (double)girder suspension crane(auxiliary hoist) and cross track equipment. The electric system is operated and controlled by button switch.
XG Model Electric Hanging Cross Track Crane is according to GB/T 3811-2008 ‘crane design specification’, JB/T 3695-2008 ‘electric hoist bridge crane’ and JB/T 2603-2008 ‘electric suspension crane’ to design and manufacture.
Feature
XG Model Electric Hanging Cross Track Crane can rely on its own rail crossing device to make the hoisting mechanism from one span to another span. XG Model Electric Hanging Cross Track Crane is mainly composed of five parts: main vehicle, auxiliary vehicle, electric hoist or trolley, lock rail device and electrical equipment, the structure of each part and the working principle of the whole machine are as follows:
- The main vehicle is composed of a suspension crane or a combination of two suspension cranes( for hoisting heavy weights items). Each crane also includes the main beam, end beam and drive device, the main girder is made of box beam or channel steel + I-beam, the end beam is a type of steel beam with a driving device. The main and the end beams are welded to connect.
- Auxiliary cars are usually made up of a set of suspension cranes. Under special circumstances, the auxiliary vehicle can be made into a fixed rail passing track, and the specifications and models are the same as the main vehicle. A buffer is installed at one end of the auxiliary vehicle to limit the trolley of the electric hoist to travel. The other auxiliary part is equipped with the the rail locking device, which is used in conjunction with the rail passing part of the main vehicle.
- The electric hoist or trolley of XG Model Electric Hanging Cross Track Crane’s lifting mechanism is mainly composed of by motor, reducer, drum, wire rope, hook group, drive trolley and so on. The motor of lifting and travelling adopts the conical rotor brake motor, which has the advantages of good heat dissipation, long service life, safety and reliable. Reducer gear material using 40Cr which has large carrying capacity. The reel is made of seamless steel tube and has excellent performance. Wire ropes for this type of crane is flexible steel wires; When the hoisting mechanism is at the maximum lifting height, the length of the wire rope should be satisfied enough safety rings not less than 2 rings left on the reel of the steel rope. Hook material should be forged by high quality carbon steel or low carbon alloy steel, and passed the heat treatment, nondestructive testing and metallographic analysis; the hook type is single hook, mouth of hook should have safety device to prevent wire rope falling off.
- The rail locking device is the core component of the crane. The lock rail device on the crane made has obtained the patent of utility model (patent number: ZL200820147815.2). The rail passing device is mainly composed of an electric push rod, a set of limit switches, a proximity switch and a photoelectric switch.
- The electric crane consists of two parts: the main vehicle and the auxiliary vehicle (when the auxiliary vehicle is a fixed track, there is no auxiliary electric motor). The main electric motor includes three parts: calabash control box, cart travelling control box and track indicating motor. The designed protection measures include stroke limit, short circuit protection, overload protection, lack of phase protection, zero position, chain protection and so on. The operation mode of the crane is ground operation or ground operation + remote control.

2. Why does the cross track crane need so many auxiliary vehicle?
