Dense corundum, with a-AL2O3, as main principle crystalline phase, gray, is characterized by high melting point,high bulk density, low apparent porosity,excellent wear resistance,slag resistance, steady volume and thermal shock resistance. It is an excellent refractory material in corundum series.
