Main application of Aluminum-silicon alloy
Aluminum silicon alloy is a kind of forging and Cast Alloy, the main composition is aluminum and silicon, generally contained 11% silicon and add a few of copper, iron, nickel to improve strength, density 2.6~2.7g/cm3, thermal conductivity 101~126 W/(m· Celsius degree), Young's modulus is 71.0GPa, impact value 7~8.5J, fatigue limit ±45MPa
Ferro-Silico-Aluminum is a deoxidizer used in steelmaking, it can improve the shape of inclusion, reduce the content of gas element in liquid steel. It is an effective new technology to improve the steel quality and reduce production cost and save aluminum. It is especially adapt to deoxygenation requirement in continuous casting steel. Experience has proved that it is not only satisfy the deoxygenation requirement in steel making, and also has desulfurization function and has advantages of high specific gravity and strong penetrating power and so on.
